What a difference a day can make

So, I got up at 4am yesterday to go to Houston. The plan was to basically get in and get out, flying out late that night. Everything was going well… until we got to the MRI…. One of the machines broke down and so everything got pushed back A LOT! Not to mention that the man who was doing my IV almost killed me and now my arm has a smaller version of that gross bruise from before on it! So after spending what should have been max of 1 hour,I got out after about 3hrs. We met with my Dr. and I got even more fun news. On my MRI, there is a small spot that was not there before. The Dr. believes that it is not new cancer but a small place where all the drugs have killed a little healthy tissue. He is not worried, but wants me to come back to do all this fun stuff again at the end of MARCH!! First of all, this girl has NO interest in going through all of this again in 3 weeks, but also, we are supposed to go to a beach house then!!!! WHAAAAAAAA!! I am trying to finagle the dated to avoid that happening but we will see. Oh yes, let me not forget, by the time we finished up with the doctors my dad had to run to the pharmacy to get my chemo drugs. By the time he got them, we had missed our flight and had to spend the night in a hotel!!!!! But I am home now and going to enjoy my time here! I hope no one is worried about this little development. The Dr. feels pretty confident, and with another MRI so close, if it were something bad it would be caught early. If there is one truth about cancer, it is a marathon, not a sprint!
Love you all!!!xoxoxoxoxoxxoxo. RANDOM PHOTO!

Geesh! You and I were just talking about how things can't be easy for you. :) You have to be sooooo difficult! :) So did the tumor shrink anymore? Or, I guess they just want it not to grow...
I will be thinking of you!
