I am one of “those” people!!!

You know the ones… the people you know either as former close friends, or friends of friends. The people that when you see them in Target you duck and run, praying that they haven’t see you already. It’s not that they are bad people… it’s just that they always talk your ear off, or have some new tragedy, or just attack you with some barrage information about people and things you don’t really know anything about. Oh yes, I some how have become one of them! So here is my shameful story…. I have a friend name Jeff- knew him through HS & college. Didn’t always hang out, but recently had become better friends again. He had a gf named Val & we hung out a couple of times & had fun. Then, last August he disappeared. Attempts were made to contact him, he never returned calls. When I got sick, no one could reach him…. So to make a long embarrassing story shorter… I ran into Val this weekend at the Target. Innocent to all of this, I proceed to launch into my entire sob story & announce how Jeff has never called etc. You know, you would think I would be smarter than this by now…. So after giving her a VERY short but VERY awful story we exchange numbers & she promises to relay all the information to Jeff. As I am leaving Target I realize with horror at what I have done!! So then, because I hate waiting for anything, I call her cell phone & leave a message apologizing!!! I don’t regret the apology, but I am sure that:
#1- I look like a crazy psycho and #2- She will ALWAYS duck & run when she spots me at Target!!
