So things here have been a little , really busy this past week!
Tuesday I found out my friend Julie was coming to town to see her father. He apparently had suffered a minor stroke on Sunday. I picked her up from the airport on Thursday. Since then I am happy to report that he is doing very well & has been released from the hospital!
On Saturday Jillian’s sister got married! We were invited to the wedding and spent the night in Merrivile. It was a beautiful wedding and we had a lot of fun at the reception. Pictures will be posted!
So Saturday and part of Sunday we were out of town. Unfortunately one of my best friends, Brandon lost his father very unexpectedly on August 28th. It is so hard to see someone you love go through something so terrible. There can be little comfort when a child looses a parent, no matter how old you may be. Sunday I was in Fort Wayne to be with Brandon and attend the wake on Monday. It was a hard weekend for the White family but they were still as gracious and loving as ever. Jerry will be missed by all who knew him.
On Tuesday morning I flew up to see my brother Matthew in Baltimore. He had just moved there from Washington DC. He has a 3 story row house in a cute neighborhood. We spent a lot of time just unpacking boxes & putting the place together. We did get to have some fun & spent time at the National Aquarium. Of course there are photos!!
While I was out of town Sean & Jen had their little girl Calie! I haven’t spoken to them, but I hear everyone is doing very well!
I also found out that my friend Amy is getting married in July & I will be a bridesmaid! How exciting!!
So now I am back home getting things in order, taking care of business. I hope things are good wherever you may be!!
