Why do they pronounce it Ar-Can-Saw when it is spelled Ar- Kansas?
This was the mystery that plagued me as we drove for 10hours and yes, I was bored, and yes, we were slightly lost .AR was fun and very rural( and I thought staying at the Econo-Lodge was “roughing it” but we got to see a lot of family and some beautiful fall foliage so overall I think a good time was had by all! I saw some if Gabe’s family whom I had never met.

I think a better question is why do they pronounce it mir-a, when it is spelled mir-ror. huh? I'm just glad we've got it right here in Illi-noise.
