I'm Leaving Again!!

Yes I am leaving again… but this time by choice! In case you didn’t know, I really love to travel (when I have some $$$) and for the moment, I actually do! But don’t blink or it will be gone!! Anyway…. I am going to visit my BF since the 3rd grade, Mandy or Amanda as she is called by those who haven’t known her forever…. In my book she will always be Mandy, the little blonde new girl who let me copy off her until the teacher moved me!! Yes… I know what you are thinking about how I was the same even then, and she would probably agree with you, although I feel that I am much improved since elementary school, hell, since yesterday! So it is going to be about a week trip, we are also going to Spokane to visit Gabe’s grandparents for a few days. It should be a lot of fun; I have only been to visit her once before, quite a while ago. I also love to tease her because Portland is LOADED with hippies & their lesser cousins who I have named the "Granola". I find all of it rather amusing and it is sooo funny sometimes. Like when she was in college her roommate boyfriend would not sleep indoors. I guess he wanted to commune with the earth?? Or her roommate who did not use deodorant, and I think she didn’t use soap either, who berated Mandy for “wasting” water by washing her dishes!!!!! Oh I just love it!!!!! Portland is also a haven for Hari Krishnas who harassed us the last time I was there…. I am sure I will have some stories & some photos when I get back. I will post once more before I go, but the trip is from the 13th-20th! All my love!! xoxoxoxoxo
