Cut off from the World..

That is not necessarily a bad thing but I must admit I am getting a little lonely for my friends & my life! I am down in Cordele GA, on my family’s pecan farm. It would not be so bad if my cell phone & internet worked like they should. But they are shaky at best, and half the time they don’t work at all! It is kinda sad how much I adore technology! So I have been reading yall’s blogs, I just can’t do a lot of commenting. So… I spent a couple of days in Indy and a day in Houston before I came to the farm. Indy was great but c-o-l-d!!!!!! I did get to spend some time though with Karla, who is going to be a mommy for the second time!! Congrats mama Karla!! I really enjoyed our time together!! Houston was the usual type trip, sweet & sour. My MRI still looks really good & clear, but I now have such low blood counts that I had to have a blood transfusion. That was a new experience & a LONG one!! Now, when I am around people I am supposed to wear a MASK to avoid getting sick! Nothing is quite as sexy as wearing a surgical mask around in the airport!! Whoo hoo! If I get sick, I have to go to the hospital immediately, so keep your germs away!! The farm has been a great place to recoup and grow some more red & white cells!! My Memaw has been cooking all my favorites, the weather is warm, abd they spoil me really bad down here!! I feel good about coming home (Nov. 2nd)& taking my next blood test! If everything looks good, I will be heading out to see miss Abbi & to be there when the baby comes! You know, you can’t keep me down, blood or no blood!!!
