I know I have been MIA but it has been a very busy holiday season!! We had a great Christmas even though we had to celebrate on the 27th. My brother Matthew had to work, so Santa had to wait. Now, for those of you who know me, that was TORTURE!! But I did it, because I love my little brother. I was very good and did not open a single present until he came!! And boy was it worth the wait!! My Memaw cooked all our favorites and then it was time for the gifts! I won’t go through them all, but in my family Christmas is the time to give good presents!! I got a Wii!!!!!!! My sweet little brother stood a Target outside in the cold in D.C. from 4am to 8am to be the 11th out of 15 people to get a Wii! And he gave it to me!!! Now THAT is love huh? I was totally shocked!! And by the way, it is sooo fabulous and fun!! In turn, I surprised Gabe with a trip to Surf School in San Diego!! He was blown away & I think really excited! Finally, my parents surprised Gabe with a gia-normous air hockey table!! The boy racked up, but he deserved it!
New Years in Chicago was fantastic!! I was so lucky to have so many friends there! Although The Hard Rock Hotel was a little crazy with security, everyone seemed to have a blast and it was well worth the effort and money!! I will be posting photos soon!!! I celebrated my 15-month mark in style!!! I am looking forward to this New Year. I go back to Houston at the end of this month and will have completed my entire medical trial. Where we go from here remains to be seen, but I am just looking up!! My resolution is to write a life list and work on it. I am really ready to see some things changing now that my health should be improving at the end of the month!! I would like to say that the past couple of year has been a struggle for me, but I am grateful. I learned a lot about myself and it made me stronger. I also cannot say enough how much my friends have done to pull me through. You made this so much easier with your unwavering support!! Thank You, I Love You!!!! xoxoxoxoxoxox
