I took a break from the blog for the holidays! It was a longer break than I had planned! Christmas was great. For the big day it was just the family. Afterwards, Abbi, Morgan & Andrew came for a bit. Morgan shocked us all by taking his official first steps!! At my house so we all got to see it!! It was so great! Now apparently he is all over the place! For a few days Julie & Jeff hung out a lot. We played video games, we Wii-ed, celebrated Jackie’s Birthday, and all kinds of indoor activities before the serious business of New Years Eve! We really enjoyed New Years. Everyone was there, and it was nice to have a low-key style party! Of course it was wonderful to see everyone! After New Years, we celebrated Gabe P’s birthday & I played my first game of Charades! It was fun, but the stuff I was expected to act out was insane For example: Freddy got Fingered????? HOW IN THE WORLD do you act that out?!?!? It was a lot of fun though and I would be willing to try it again.
So now everyone has gone, but 2008 is still hanging on… resolutions? Maybe…. But really, for me, I am challenging myself in ways that are not always obvious, but are also really hard. Maybe I will save that information for another Blog….
I am heading back to Houston on the 15-16. I have full faith that I am going to have a great report! If not, well we will just take it as it comes. 2008 is going to be a great year, I just know it!

Sorry I didn't call you for dinner over the holidays. Things are so hectic with getting ready to take the state board exam. It will all be over in a few weeks, and then if you are up to it, I would love to have dinner!
