Whew!

So I have good news for all! I just got back from Houston and things still look good. The “spot” has not grown and so they are pretty sure it isn’t tumor. This also means I don’t have to go back until sometime in June, which means I may get to have a life again!!! There has been soo much minor stuff going on around here that I am ready to go nuts, but in a good way. There is just so much I need to do and soo much I want to do… ahh the epic struggle. And with me, what I want almost always wins out! So I am trying to re-focus my energies (what little I have) on what needs to be done, and letting the wants come second. Other than that, my mind has been on my friends. My friend Jackie is really struggling in ways that I cannot imagine and I am really unable to help her besides just being there. That is always a killer for me! Then my friend Jewels came for a quick visit which was fun, but she has mold growing in her air ducts in her apt. & now she is at home breathing that shit because her landlord won’t return her phone calls!!! Now there is something I can help with. I am helping her draft a letter to the Better Business Bureau and taking whatever other action needed because that mold is no joke!! I will keep yall posted as the mold saga unfolds.
